Bangladesh: Garment factories fail to pay workers' December wages, amid order reductions & financial crises; incl. co. responses

In February 2025, it was reported that workers at the Alema Textile factory had not received their owed wages after Inditex, which had previously accounted for 70% of the factory’s production capacity, had ceased business with the factory.
In February 2025, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Inditex, as well as other reported buyers from the factory, including Mango, Woolworths South Africa and WE Fashion, to respond. The responses can be found below.
