1. How are you planning to mitigate the heightened risk of contributing or being directly linked to the armed conflict and exacerbating the situation?

At Bekaert we are united by the belief that there should be no harm to anyone, and as a consequence, we condemn any act of violence and aggression against people. This implies that we do not contribute to armed conflicts. Our company has continued its local-for-local operations in Russia in support of the livelihood of the employees and their families. However: we have significantly scaled back the activities in and with Russia and all investments in Russia were put on hold since the start of the war in Ukraine.
