Cellebrite's response

22 May 2024

We are not participating in your survey.

Doing so would mis-categorize our business, confuse our clientele, and insult the mission of law enforcement communities around the world.

Please send the URL where you see we sell drones.

UFED/Inseyets doesn’t observe. Please show me how you drew this conclusion.

Regardless of your attempt to force the narrative, a UFED doesn’t facilitate surveillance.

As previously shared on multiple occasions:

  • UFED/Inseyets lawfully extracts data from a device once law enforcement has the proper authorization to do so and the device in hand as physical possession is required.
  • Our data analytics technology is used only when authorized, in legally sanctioned investigations, after a crime has occurred.
  • We do not monitor, track or observe individuals, groups or their activities.
  • We do not produce drones, video cameras, sensors, facial recognition technology, biometric identification systems, GPS tracking devices or internet monitoring tools.

Our mission is to help law enforcement appropriately investigate child exploitation cases, homicides, sexual assault, mass violence, drug and human trafficking, fraud, financial crimes et. al.

We are also opting out of your communications and in doing so removing our consent to be named within your content—an option we can exercise as outlined on your website’s usage policy which cites EU privacy laws.

Thanks. These questions do not apply to us. We do not conduct surveillance.

We are not pre- or peri-event. We are post-event and conduct our practices under proper judicial processes.

We’ve communicated this to you for three years. Please quit trying to categorize us as surveillance.

Again:

Cellebrite is not a surveillance or offensive cyber-technology company; nor does it produce technology solutions that support surveillance or monitoring efforts. Completion of this survey would incorrectly categorize our business. Accordingly, we decline inclusion. A summary of our company’s mission and global operations is below for clarity.

  • Our industry-leading solutions, services and world-class trainings are built and designed to help our customers improve public safety, help victims reclaim their lives and uncover the truth buried within each investigation.

Operations
