"Trepça": The miners of Artana and Kishnica stop their strike, 1 November 2023

The company "Trepça" has said that the miners in Artana and Kishnica have stopped the strike that started a few days ago.

"Miners of Artana and flotation workers in the Kishnica and Artana Flotation Mining Business Unit stop their strike and return to work. A wise and very fair decision by the miners and workers of Kishnica and Artana", says the announcement of "Trepça".

The miners of "Trepça" have entered the ninth day of the strike. They are demanding improved working conditions, regular wages, health insurance and the removal of the head of the company.

The day before, the trade unionists met with the deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo and representatives of the Ministry of Economy. 

Meanwhile, the strike at the "Stan Tërgut" Mine is continuing, Ibrahim Januzi, head of the trade union, has confirmed.
