Myanmar: Garment workers at Zong Hong garment factory report several labour rights violations; Incl. co. responses

In May 2023, it was reported that workers at Zong Hong garment factory faced a series of violations, including excessive production targets, verbal abuse, denial of leave, mandatory overtime and reduced wages if workers refused to work overtime, and the Workplace Coordination Committee not engaging with the workers on their issues.

In October 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited BESTSELLER, Inditex, LPP S.A, and New Yorker to respond. New Yorker did not respond. The responses can be found below.
