Myanmar: Garment workers report discrimination against LGBTQ+ community at Myanmar Knitting factory; incl. co. responses

In June 2023, it was reported that workers at Myanmar Knitting garment factory faced a series of violations, including discrimination against workers of the LGBTQ+ community, incl. mocking and threatening to fire them. It was also reported that a supervisor physically assaulted a worker because he could not understand what he was saying due to the language barrier.

In October 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Lidl, Marks & Spencer and Primark to respond. The responses can be found below.
