Myanmar: Garment workers report forced unpaid overtime at Sunrise Myanmar factory; incl. co. responses

In August 2023, it was reported that workers at Sunrise Myanmar were facing a series of violations, including wage cuts if workers refuse overtime, no breaks during overtime, no transport provided for workers working overtime shifts, no bonus paid if workers don't reach targets, and unpaid overtime continuing despite a visit from the labour office.

In January 2024, the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Adastria (for its Lepsim, Global Work, Hare, Lepsim and Lowry's Farm brands), Honeys Holdings (for its Cinema Club brand), Shimamura and United Athle to respond. Full responses below.
