Oman: Employees at Petron Gulf allegedly left stranded without pay for 5 months

Over 800 migrant workers at Petron Gulf – Oman have reportedly been left stranded without pay for five months. The company has also reportedly failed to renew the workers’ residence permits, making them liable to pay fines upon leaving the country. According to the allegations, the workers did not have access to proper food, drinking water, and shelter.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Petron Gulf - Oman to respond, but has not received a response.
