In December 2023, the Resource Centre wrote to Al Muraba Al Hadi to invite the construction company to respond to a report alleging workers from Jharkand, India had been stranded in Saudi Arabia for eight months after the company did not pay them their salary. The workers' visas had expired, they were without food and they were reportedly stranded in the country. The company did not respond to the allegations.
