Medidas adoptadas: The employees contacted the Indian consulate for help; labour officials launched an investigation into the men's claims and attempted to track down the employer who they were unable to contact. The consulate issued Emergency Certificates for the workers which enabled them to travel home. Business & Human Rights Resource Centre contacted Al Maidan to invite them to respond to the allegations; the company did not respond.
