Myanmar: Garment workers report labour rights abuses incl. wage deductions when workers take leave; incl. co. responses

In February 2024, it was reported that day labourers at E&P Fashion were denied employment despite working beyond the probation period day labourers being fired if they cannot work shifts they were not notified of previously, workers facing wage deductions if they take leave, and workers denied seniority benefits.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited LPP (for its Sinsay and MOHITO brands) and OVS SpA to respond. The responses can be found below.
