Active Brand's response to allegations of abuses in Myanmar garment factories - October 2024 Update

[...]

...as mentioned in our previous conversation, Active Brands does not, and has never, manufactured in the factory referenced in the allegations.

Handa operates several factories, and our production takes place in a different Handa facility within Myanmar. This factory is regularly audited under multiple compliance programs and is part of the MADE initiative, co-funded by the European Union and industry partners. The program ensures that experts are on the ground, assessing the factory where we manufacture, while actively working with management and workers to improve social and environmental standards continuously.

We remain committed to upholding the highest ethical practices and greatly appreciate your engagement on these important matters. While Active Brands is not connected to the factory mentioned in the allegations, we are actively following up with Handa's management team and expect them to implement a comprehensive action plan to address these serious concerns.
