 …These allegations are false and without basis in reality.  The facts are as follows: The alleged water wells in the article are not water wells, they are ground water seepages. The water coming out of the seepages is not and has never been considered potable…El Cubo community is not supplied with water from any of these seepages…Our subsidiary company Cia Minera del Cubo pays for the operation and maintenance of the pumping system from El Caolin dam to the El Cubo community as a favour to the community…We do not use cyanide in any of our operations at El Cubo, therefore there is no cyanide in our tailings…We were not fined by PROFEPA and did not pay any fine to PROFEPA for polluting any water…In addition, we work with the El Cubo community every year to enhance their quality of life…
