We note the comments made in relation to the HS2 rolling stock procurement exercise and the request that CAF is removed as a bidder from this procurement.

The procurement is in progress and is being conducted under the requirements of the UK Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 and the evaluation criteria set out to bidders in July 2018 for this competition. HS2 will comply with the prevailing law and its own tender processes in the evaluation of all its bids for this contract and these criteria alone will determine the outcome of the competition.
