Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail response to alleged 'culture of racism' at contractor

19th January 2024

We would note the article refers to an ongoing WRC case in which no finding has been made, and which does not relate to OCS operations with Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail.

As part of Iarnród Éireann’s Procurement process and also our Permit to Work System each company must comply with IÉ’s code of conduct and they must also submit their company Safety.

Within this, our security contractor OCS has detailed its Dignity and Harassment policies to us.

Iarnród Éireann is satisfied that, within its working relationship with OCS and its diverse workforce over the past 9+ years, no issues of this nature have arisen.
