A recent report raises locals’ concerns on PT PLN Persero's (PLN) 100-megawatt coal power plant that is being built beside their homes. The media item states that activists warn that the plant will produce carcinogenic fumes and wastewater that pose health and environmental risks. Further, locals allege that the plant is being built without any impact assessment.
