A miner killed at Artemyevsky mine in East Kazakhstan region, 1 September 2024

According to the company...as a result of a falling rock at Artemyevsky mine, a miner from a contractor organisation sustained injuries incompatible with life.

- The circumstances and causes of the incidents are being investigated, special investigation commissions have been created. Chairman of the Board of Directors of KAZ Minerals Group Oleg Novachuk has traveled to the region to personally participate in the investigation.
