[...]

Mitsui is deeply concerned about the situation in Ukraine and hopes for peaceful resolution to the conflict as quickly as possible. For our business globally, we regard respect for human rights in line with international standards as fundamental to our approach. We strive to respect human rights in all our Group business activities as set out in the International Bill of Human Rights and the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. We also support the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact and conduct our business activities in line with these Principles. We expect various stakeholders including our business partners, to understand and respect human rights in line with the Principles.
