A group of former workers of the Bauxite Mines in Nikšić briefly blocked the rails used to ship bauxite, 8 June 2022

Dissatisfied that for years they have not succeeded in getting a difference of 15 wages, from minimum to full wages, for the period before the introduction of bankruptcy, a group of former workers of Nikšić Bauxite Mines briefly blocked the rails used to ship bauxite.

We conducted proceedings in the Commercial Court, which rejected our request to include the salary differences in the first payment order. The Court of Appeal then ruled in our favor and the funds entered the first payment order," said Vitomir Krulanović...

Milojica Knežević said that everyone had deceived them and said that the workers will not give up their demands, and that the blockade of the removal of ore will last until the bankruptcy administration or the government signs a contract with them in which they undertake to pay them the money they claim...
