Myanmar: Garment workers at Myanmar Sinyoung Fashion factory reportedly forced to work overnight; incl. co. response
In January 2024, it was reported that workers at Myanmar Sinyoung Fashion were facing a series of violations, including denial of permanent contracts for day labourers who are not paid full wages, pressure and harassment if workers tell management their wages have been cut, and workers working overnight shifts.
It was also reported that a worker at Myanmar Sinyoung Fashion faced dimissal after they used a piece of factory linen that was no longer used to weap around his body during an overnight shift. His picture was posted in a public place.
