Myanmar: Garment workers report dizziness due to pressure to meet excessive production targets; incl. co. responses
In February 2024, it was reported that workers at Dihuali Garment factory were facing a series of violations, including excessive production targets, mandatory overtime causing health issues, unclean water, damaged toilets, day labourers dismissed within two weeks, workers threatened that wages will be cut if management find any faults, and wages cut if workers miss work due to public holidays.
In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited SanMar, MANGO, Tom Tailor and Workman to respond. Responses can be found below.
