Romania: Factory closes leaving +100 workers jobless, after luxury brands reportedly shift orders & lower prices; incl. co. responses
In September 2024, it was reported that the La Selezione factory had shut down due to a lack of orders, resulting in 152 workers being laid off. The factory also reported brands progressively lowering prices.
In November 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited LVMH (for Dior), Kering (for Gucci) and Tod's to respond. Dior responded. Kering and Tod's did not.
