Sri Lanka: Tea workers protest wage cuts for workers who fail to meet 'unrealistic', increased work targets; incl. co. responses
In September 2022, it was reported that over 75 workers at Glenugie Tea Estate in Sri Lanka staged demonstrations, protesting the introduction of new targets which have allegedly led to wage cuts of more than 50 percent if workers fail to meet the targets.
