Mesures prises: The worker alleged that he had repeatedly approached the Indian Embassy in Kuwait for aid but had not received support. The district labour office in Ganjam, Odisha, stated that they are in the process of repatriating the worker.

[Jeelu] Prusty had been working as a pipe fabricator at M/s Heena Enterprises in Mumbai since 2016. The company subsequently engaged him at M/s Al-Sager Company Gen Trad & Cont WLL, Kuwait last year. However, instead of employing him as a pipe fabricator as promised earlier, the said company engaged Prusty in soil transporting work...
After working there for eight months, he left the job. However, the company did not settle his payment. His passport validity also reportedly ended in November 2019...
When contacted, Ganjam district labour officer said all efforts are on to bring back the youth to the State.
