Miners of Kirovohrad region end their protest, 23 December 2020
Employees of Inhulska, Novokostyantynivska and Smolinska uranium mines unblocked traffic on the roads in Kirovograd region, which they had been blocking. The miners' protest lasted three days. They protested over wage arrears and mine downtime. They are owed 87 million in wages. They have not been working since 7 Decemberbecause of lack of money. According to the plant's head Anton Bendik, the state enterprise Energoatom owes them a total of UAH 699 million.
