Project Director, Indonesia at Social Accountability International
SAI is applying for Phase 1 of a US Department of Labor (USDOL) funded grant project to develop and pilot actionable resources to create global worker-driven social compliance systems, putting workers and their organizations at the center of effective solutions to ensure the real, independently verifiable protection of labor rights in global supply chains. The resources will be piloted in the Indonesian palm oil sector. The role of the Project Director throughout the course of the project, will include, but not be limited to: developing and maintaining systems for managing all project operations, managing and coordinating project activities to ensure their adequate and timely delivery and completion; and overseeing staff and local partners.
We are looking for candidates with at least five years of demonstrated experience in project management, supervision, administration, and implementation of cooperative agreement and/or contract requirements (including meeting deadlines, achieving targets, and preparing required reports to donor agencies), as well as working on projects that address labor-related issues, including forced and child labor, social compliance, and/or environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) in Indonesia.
