Myanmar: Shoe factory refuses to provide compensation to workers unable to move to relocated factory; incl. co. responses

In March 2024, it was reported that New Way Shoes told workers they were unable to pay compensation to workers who were unable to move to the new relocated factory. It was also reported that 30 day labourers at New Way Shoes were denied permanent contracts and benefits, and were dismissed without compensation.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited adidas and Authentic Brands (for Reebok) to respond. adidas' can be found below. Authentic Brands did not respond.
