[DOC] Response of Skechers USA to concerns regarding labour conditions at Kingmaker Footwear’s Zhuhai, China, Factory

...upon receipt of [recent] correspondence [alleging labour problems at Kingmaker footwear], we immediately requested independent third party audits of our contract manufacturers including Kingmaker. We have also asked certain manufacturers to answer allegations of illegal practices raised by China Labor Watch...If the third party audits reveal that any of our contract manufacturers are violating labor or other laws or diverges from those labor practices generally accepted as ethical in the United States, we intend to address such violations and/or deficiencies with those manufacturers. If they are unable to remedy violations of labor laws and deficiencies of labor practices to our satisfaction, we will re-evaluate our relationships with those manufacturers.
