Epson response

June 3, 2024

Subject: Regarding the alleged use of Epson products

Dear Business & Human Rights Resource Centre,

Epson is strongly committed to complying with all relevant laws and regulations and has established an organization to ensure security export control in line with Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry guidelines.

In addition, we have established a company policy by which we avoid participating in any business involving weapons, their components, or equipment used in their manufacture.

We therefore do not supply our products to armaments manufacturers.

Sincerely,

Seiko Epson Corporation
