LG Electronics response to Public Justice rejoinder

If this were about an LG employee working in an LG plant, the situation would be different. The fact is LG has thousands of suppliers around the world employing hundreds of thousands of workers. Compensation is the responsibility of the vendor in accordance with local laws and Ms Moreno was compensated by her employer in accordance with Mexican labor laws. We do not feel it is our place to question the appropriateness of how our contractors compensate their employers in situations such as these. As LG Electronics has been named in a legal dispute, it would be inappropriate to comment any further on this case.
