Myanmar: Garment workers report health conditions caused by excessive overtime; incl. co. responses

In February 2024, it was reported that workers at Myanmar Dixinda Garment are facing a series of violations, including mandatory overtime resulting in health conditions, dismissal if workers refuse overtime, excessive production targets, day labourers unlawfully dismissed when they are not needed, and verbal abuse.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Workman, Gratex Industries and Baroque to respond. Workman's response can be found below. Gratex Industries and Baroque did not respond.
