...we have reviewed the situation...and have concluded that we cannot meet our duty of care in Myanmar even with our current setup in the country.

In the Otto Group and its Group companies, we have decided against sourcing goods produced for us in Myanmar in future. Depending on the Group company, we have different implementation statuses due to the very different constructs of cooperation; some business relationships have been ended already, some still are in the responsible exit phase.

In this regard, I would like to inform you that we have discontinued all business relations with Tristate since the end of 2022 and with Nexstar since the end 2023. As a result, we are unable to provide any further information regarding the reported abuses, nor can we participate in any investigations or contribute to improving the situation.
