Earlier, Idel.Realii reported about a riot of workers involved in the construction of the M-12 highway in the Nizhny Novgorod region. They received their wages from a Chinese contractor after media publicity. About 1,500 workers of CRCC Rus LLC (the Russian subsidiary of the Chinese CRCC), who are building a section of the M-12 highway in the Buturlinsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, went on strike due to delayed wages. This was reported by the regional State Labor Inspectorate. The workers complained that no money had been transferred to them since January 10.
And this is not the first strike of workers in Nizhny Novgorod. In summer of 2022, bridge workers on the M-12 in the Vadsky district also complained about the delay in salaries.
