...we want to clarify that back in 2022, we took the decision to exit the country and to not continue the production via our suppliers for the upcoming seasons.

In fact the last production of TOM TAILOR garments has been completed in December 2022. Since then, no further production for TOM TAILOR took place in Myanmar.

Before we onboard a new factory / supplier, a holistic screening takes place. One pre-condition to on-board a factory / supplier is the commitment to and signing of the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct and our Tom Tailor Social Compliance Manual and in addition a valid audit certificate has to be in place. And the audits have to renewed on a regular basis.

For both factories - for the time of production – we have valid audit reports available.

As we don’t have a running production in Myanmar we will not investigate this process further...
