Russia imports German-made equipment crucial for defence industry production despite intl. sanctions, new investigation shows; incl. cos. non-responses

An investigation by SWR revealed that more than 300 deliveries from German manufacturers were made to Russia by the end of December 2023. Most of these deliveries included large industrial machines (so-called CNC machines), along with other equipment that can be used in military production.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Walter Maschinenbau and Vollmer to respond, but neither company did. Their non-responses can be found below.
