Myanmar: Garment workers at Cherry Apparel reportedly forced to work for six hours without breaks; incl. co. response

In November 2023, it was reported that workers at Cherry Apparel faced a series of violations, including workers being forced to work for six hours without taking breaks, salty water provided by the factory, no access to a factory clinic and medicine, and verbal abuse.

Two days after the article was published, it was later reported that workers at the factory were forced to sign a statement stating they approved of the overtime hours.
