Myanmar: Garment workers denied government subsidy if they fail to meet targets; incl. co. response

In March 2024, it was reported that workers at Hanboom (Myanmar) are facing a series of violations, including workers being denied the government 30,000 kyat subsidy if they don't meet excessive and varying production targets, mandatory and unpaid overtime if workers don't meet targets, verbal abuse if workers don't meet targets, wage cuts if workers take leave and unfair dismissals.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Honey's (for Cinema Club) to respond. The responses can be found below.
