2nd Russia firm punishes staffer for sex abuse on UN work

A second Russian airline used by U.N. missions around the world has said it disciplined an employee who was found guilty of sexual abuse in the Congo and was taking steps to prevent any future misconduct...[T]he U.N. Department of Peacekeeping Operations told Reuters it had temporarily suspended the contracts of two Russian air transportation firms...after several staff sexually abused local residents. One of the firms, UTair Aviation, issued a statement...announcing that it had disciplined an employee...The other firm, Nefteyugansk, issued a similar statement...It said the firm "applied the required disciplinary measures to this employee..."...Neither UTair nor Nefteyugansk offered details of the disciplinary measures taken against the employees who committed the abuse...Both firms are again operating flights for U.N. missions in accordance with their contracts. U.N. officials have declined to provide details on the sexual misconduct of the employees involved in the case...
