Bangladesh Accord on Fire and Building Safety released [Bangladesh]

Ahead of the midnight deadline, at least 24 garment and retail brands sourcing from Bangladesh have agreed to sign on to the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh. IndustriALL, UNI Global Union and their NGO partners are expecting further commitments from brands today…The 24 companies currently confirmed are H&M, Inditex, C&A, PVH, Tchibo, Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Primark, El Corte Inglés, Mango, Carrefour, KiK, Helly Hansen, G-Star, Aldi South, Aldi North, New Look, Mothercare, Next, Loblaws, Sainsbury’s, Benetton, N Brown Group, Stockmann.
