"Appeal for public disclosure — Baseline Study for Corporate Social Responsibility and Human Rights in ASEAN", 7 August 2014

…[We are] writing to request Your Excellency and all Country Representatives of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) to publicly disclose the recently completed Baseline Study for Corporate Social Responsibility and Human Rights in ASEAN (Study)…The Study is a critical contribution to the understanding and development of the duties and responsibilities of governments and companies, as well as the promotion of a common platform within ASEAN to promote and protect human rights. We believe that releasing the Study to the public is in line with the AICHR’s mandate…Our organization makes this appeal to the Commission in the hope that public disclosure of the Study will create increased opportunities for dialogue, collaboration and debate between different stakeholders that have been, to date, unavailable or limited…
