Kenya: Thanks to a Training of Trainers (ToT) carried out with our partner Safestainable in February 2019, the Kenyan police force now has a pool of 16 police instructors at their disposal fully equipped to independently deliver Voluntary Principles training courses to their counterparts. The instructors will train police officers in four different counties in Kenya. In total, over 100 police officers will be trained in an effort to improve Kenya’s police performance and respect of human rights in general, in particular when assigned to the protection of critical infrastructure projects.
