The Business & Human Rights Centre contacted The Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) in relation to their involvement in the megaproject of the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. In July, 2023, the BHRRC participated with another NGOs in the Civilian Observation Mission on the CIIT and reported to violation to the human rights of indigenous peoples and communities perpetuated by the Navy and the National Guard.

The response received by The Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) denies a direct connection to the corridor.
