Myanmar: Garment workers face physical & verbal abuse at factory; incl. co. responses

In January 2024, it was reported that workers at the JW/ADK factory were facing a series of violations, including denial of leave and wage cuts if workers take leave, mandatory overtime overnight, physical and verbal abuse, denial of bonuses, no access to medicine in case of an injury at the factory, using workers' wages to pay for repairs, workers forced to carry heavy loads up and down stairs and workers forced to take leave if they complain about overtime shifts.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Inditex, Hang Ten and ALDI SOUTH to respond. The responses can be found below.
