Myanmar: Garment workers face safety risks returning home after mandatory overnight shifts; incl. co. response

In December 2023, it was reported that workers at Yoyika Garment were facing a series of violations, including low wages paid to day labourers incl. overtime, denial of permanent contracts for permanent workers, workers being robbed due to the late hours they return home from overtime, verbal abuse from supervisors.

In August 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited LPP S.A (for its Sinsay brand) and Olivades to respond. LPP's response can be found below. Olivades did not respond.
