Myanmar: Garment workers report wage cuts if they take leave; incl. co. responses

In March 2024, it was reported that workers at Jiashihao (Myanmar) factory are facing a series of violations, including workers not receiving their owed wages if they are not comfortable with the supervisors, denial of leave and wage cuts if workers take leave, and inadequate dining facilities.

In August 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Lidl, Inditex, OTTO and H&M to respond. The responses can be found below.
