Myanmar: Garment workers told to return to factory to receive wages despite security concerns; incl. co. response

In March 2024, it was reported that around 40 workers who resigned from Jiashihao (Myanmar) following news of the new conscription law and returned home are told they must come back to the factory to receive their owed wages, despite the difficulties returning due to the political situation and condition of the roads.

In August 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited H&M, Inditex, OTTO and Lidl to respond. The responses can be found below.
