Myanmar: Workers report several labour rights violations at Princess Power Manufacturing garment factory; incl. co. responses
In August 2022, it was reported that workers at Princess Power Manufacturing factory were facing a series of violations at the factory, including the hiring of child labour. Furthermore it was also reported that 80 daily labourers were being hired at the factory and paid below the minimum wage, and were also denied social security benefits and leave.
Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited SPAO and NKD Group (for its Laura Torelli brand) to respond. NKD Group responded. The response can be found below.
