SpaceX licensed suppliers allegedly fail to conduct due diligence, which may contribute to illegal use of Starlink terminals by Russian army; incl. co. non-response

An investigation by Novaya Gazeta Europe found that licensed suppliers of Starlink terminals do not conduct due diligence in supply chains to ensure that the terminals do not become part of the “black market” that Russians have allegedly created in order to circumvent sanctions and export controls.

The authors highlight that this lack of due diligence may result in the fact that the Russian military use Starlink in the war zone.

Business and Human Rights Resource Centre invited SpaceX to respond. The company did not.
