Suez Steel Co. S.A.E (SSC) has suffered from a work stoppage on 18/7/2013 which was due to a despicable violent attack undertaken by a number of workers against their fellow workers forcing them, by violent means, to stop the work in the core manufacturing edifices. Such stoppage immediately led to a complete stoppage of the whole of SSC plant. Under Egyptian Law, the use of violence for the purpose of stopping or impeding the work of a company entails a criminal liability.
