Vietnam: 600+ employees protest low wage hike and year-end bonus; Toyo Precision did not respond

Around 600 workers at a Japanese company Toyo Precision in Vietnam went on strike to demand better pay and working conditions. The employees, who work at Toyo Precision's factory in the southern province of Binh Duong, are seeking a pay increase of 20% and improvements to their benefits. The strike began on January 24, and the workers have not yet returned to their jobs.

Business and Human Rights Resource Centre invited Toyo Precision to respond but received no response.
